Description
The X-10 HR10E/HR12U 8 channel RF remote control allows detailed control over your X-10 automated home, either directly using the same house code as all your devices, or indirectly using macros on an X-10 home automation controller like the CM15Pro.
The HR10E/HR12U has a code wheel to set the house code of the device. It has the standard A to P range. The controller itself has eight on and off buttons for unit codes 1 to 8 and a slide switch that will convert these buttons to unit codes 9 to 16. There are also buttons to issue bright and dim commands.
How it works
The X-10 HR10E/HR12U RF Remote is battery powered. If it is to be used for direct appliance or lamp control, the house code should match the house code of the appliance or lamp modules that are being used. If it is triggering macro on another home automation controller, for example, the CM15Pro, an unused house code should be chosen.
