Use to filter out noise or devices which may block X-10 signals. Can either be placed in the appliance if there is room, or can be mounted in a standard electrical pattress.
To test if a device needs a filter, unplug the device you think is causing noise or absorbing the signal and try again. If the X-10 signal now works, that device needs a filter.
