X-10 2 Load Lamp Micro Module, No Neutral (2266)

Summary
The X-10 2266 micro module allows X-10 control over your existing lighting without the need to replace your light switches. The X-10 2266 does not require a neutral connection, but will only work with normal incandescent bulbs. Two loads are supported.

Description
The X-10 2266 two load lamp micro module allows you to keep your existing switches in place and does not require you to run a neutral wire to your light switch. It features electronic code setting and a built in noise filter.

How it works
The existing three or four wires that are connected to the switch are connected to the micro module and the three small wires that come from the micro module are connected back to the switch. The switch then still acts as an on/off device. Sending X-10 commands to the module will allow both on/off and dim functions.
