X-10 1 Load Lamp Micro Module, No Neutral (2265)

Summary
The X-10 2265 micro module allows X-10 control over your existing lighting without the need to replace your light switches. The X-10 2265 does not require a neutral connection, but will only work with normal incandescent bulbs.

Description
The X-10 2265 one load lamp micro module allows you to keep your existing switches in place and does not require you to run a neutral wire to your light switch. It features electronic code setting and a built in noise filter.

How it works
The existing two wires that are connected to the switch are connected to the micro module and the two small wires that come from the micro module are connected back to the switch. The switch then still acts as an on/off device. Sending X-10 commands to the module will allow both on/off and dim functions.
